As a visual communicator, I am motivated by harmony as an inquiry and an aspiration, creating paintings that are both celebratory and calming.
 

Formal training paired with organic exploration have facilitated the evolution of my work. Energetic qualities of vibrancy and stillness are developed by repeatedly rotating canvases as I contemplate composition, contrast, and the emotional impact of juxtaposed hues. Resonant abstractions emerge through layering, guided by a sense of integration and balance. 

 

Following intuition from blank canvas to signed piece is a bold place from which to be working and an ongoing invitation to dance with uncertainty. Permission to pause and to pivot inspires my life journey and my contemporary work.
